Alvo, por Sandra Meyer Lavar a roupa tornou-se tarefa relativamente fácil nos dias de hoje. Joga-se os pertences na máquina e ela, feito um moto-contínuo lava, enxágua, centrifuga e seca. Enquanto trabalha, a máquina permite à dona de CASA um tempo adicional, uma fuga das agruras, uma leitura, um telefonema, um devaneio, uma outra coisa qualquer. Dentro da lavadora da CASA um vídeo-objeto simula esta circularidade como num balé mecânico légeriano. Passar a roupa sim demanda exclusividade, tempo, alisamento, manuseio, repetição. São os afazeres domésticos. Corpos domesticados? Corpos dóceis? Tarefas cotidianas de tantas mulheres que sublimam desejos emoldurando-os em alvos véus. Um papel que não passa nunca, não cessa. Mas enquanto passa a ferro as folhas em branco a mulher da CASA engendra novas maquinações. Seu papel, fácil de rasgar? Nem tanto. No fundo da CASA e no jardim circulam intensidades. Target, by Sandra Meyer Laundry has become a relatively easy task nowadays. You throw your belongings into a machine and, in perpetual motion, it washes, rinses, spins and dries. While it works, it gives the housewife an additional time, an escape from bitterness, a reading, a phone call, a dream or something else. Inside the washing machine of the House a video-object assumes this circularity as in a Legerian mechanical ballet. Ironing, yes, demands exclusivity, timing, smoothing, handling, repeating. That’s housework. Domesticated bodies? Tamed bodies? Daily tasks of so many women that sublimate desires framing them in white veils. A paper/role that never fails, never ceases. But while ironing the white sheets the woman of the HOUSE/CASA engenders new schemes. Is her paper/role easy to tear? Not so much. At the rear of the HOUSE/CASA and in the garden intensities get around. Reterritorializations. Never is late, never is too much. Sandra Meyer’s instantaneous perceptions in visiting the HOUSE/CASA.
